Hi there, I know plants proccess co2 during light hours and expell some co2 during dark. However is it healthy for plants to be lit 24/7?

I ask as I'll be putting a few mangroves in a sump and I have the option of leaving them lit 24/7.

Thanks

Plants need they rest time too. You can easily see it when you watch leaves of some plants on evening (e.g. Nomaphila stricta, Limnophila sessiliflora...). They "close" leaves, leaves retreat close to the shaft.
