Just that some people just throw their clippings away....but i can make use with them, so why not ey! I lost a load of plants due to alge as u probably read

LMAO Yes Rose, but one big salad bar . They are like my babies so will let them eat for a while . I figured I'll wait and see what they leave and just restock with them . I've now done the initial planting and added my 4k bog wood. The tank already looks good - guess the sd's will be like the teenagers - an untidy room lol.

Cheep goodness I would love to have some cheep plants for my tanks. Noooooooo I gotta spend almost $5 on the cheepest plant in any of my lfs'. enough to make one go broke.

Hi guys, just bought a few plants, canny expensive too, did`nt realise that they cud be so much.. Anyways i just hope that my oscars don`t take a liking to them too much ..Anywayz anyone know how to figure the sex between oscars??

hate to tell you this but you have just bought your oscars an expensive salad bar. Not only that but they will up root your plants. Cichlids are NOT plant friendly fish. As far as sexing them goes you might want to ask that in the Cichlid forum. You'll get a better answer there.
