Oh I really feel like the world is against me getting my tank set up! Now the royal mail are stopping me too

I ordered my plants on the 18th and so they should have been here last week. I emailed greenline and andy called me back last night. He was a really nice guy and it makes such a difference getting a personal service from an internet dealer.

He's sending me more plants this week and hopefully they should arrive Friday.

I read that for stemmed plants to leave them floating in the tank till they grow some roots and then plants them. Is this right?

I'm so excited. And my nitrites are going down, so hopefully I might be able to get fish the weekend after this weekend.

Good luck. I've just ordered a load of Vallis and Hairgrass from them. I'm hoping it will turn up tomorrow - they've (or the post) never let me down yet.

I usually allow stem plants and cuttings to float for a week before planting. It gives a chance for some roots to form, and also, if they are damaged, you can see any rotting and trim it back to sound material.

i orderd some from them yesterday but i made a mistake on the credit card details, dont know how!!
I hope i still get them tomorrow or friday or i will not be here until monday to plant them.

I think you have to order them by a certain day to get them in the same week. I got an email from them saying they should arrive by Friday at the latest. So if royal mail have got their act together you should get it by Friday if you ordered them before the cut off point.

It's totally royal mail to blame. They are a pain. But they don't want to know unless its been more than 15 days. I think it's rediculus that it's acceptable for a first class letter to take 15 days to get delivered.

In the future when ordering plants I shall opt for special delivery. I don't want to mess greenline around again.
