Has anyone bought plants from this seller before?

Item number: 380117892640

They seem like a steal and the feedback isn't too bad. But just wondering if anyone has any actual experience of them?

Thanks!

take the link down and replace with the item number ( saves the mods deleting the whole thing ) links to ebay are against forums rules, unless you have permission

oh, are we not allowed to link to Ebay items then? I didn't know that, sorry! Have edited the above post now.

actually i was looking at those too.. considering what they describe are 5 for 10£ in pets at home, sounds like a bargain.. but then are they single stems or bunches.. look who didnt read it properly

5 bunches (25stems) is nothing. It may seem like a lot but it isnt worth the money. PLus i would pick what you want. They may be non-aquatic, hard to grow etc etc.

beat me to it lol.

most P@H branches ell tropica plnts, so get in on the day of delivery and you are onto some real bargains!!

So, I take it you get 5 bunches of plants (5 stems in each) and it says no 2 bunches will be the same, so you get 5 different types of plant? Is that right?

I notice they also do other size lots, I am going to be needing to plant a 200litre (100x44x55 cm) and I want it to look good, so I am guessing I would need more than 5 bunches?

5 bunches would do a 5gallon (30litre tank)
so you will need at least 40 bunches. You might want to try mixing in some other species rather than just stem plants though. Such as cryptocoryne sp and echinodorous species.
Try Aquafleur plants from aqua essentials as you get about 8 plants in 1 pot.

I've had plants from someone pretending to be that company.
1 was non aquatic, 1 had been grown unsubmerged (Common hair grass that had seed pods) and 1 was DOA.

I sent a message the e-bayer listed above explaining what had happened to me when I bought plants from the person pretendin to be them.
I got nothing but abuse back. I was told basically that I didn't know what I was talking about and I should listen to 'experienced people'. (That'll teach me to try to make them aware)

They then followed these messages by arrogantly telling me that 'It seems you've found a new species of hairgrass with multiple propogating traits. I would like to know what it is.' I sent them a message with several links to pages on the commonist type of hairgrass...un ubmerged it uses flowers and seeds, submerged it uses runners.

The long winded point I'm getting too is that if they don't know about the most common form of hairgrass (And weren't willing to even google the statement I was making) ...then I would be hesitant to order from them.
