hi
i have a 55 gallon tank that I've just converted from a cichlid to a community with platies, guppies,a bala shark and angel's and i fancy a few live plants but the bulb is just a regular florescent i think (i din't buy the bulb so im not sure) and the substrate is around 2 inch of large gravel/stones so what aquatic plants could i have in here that will last a good few years,i'm happy to maintaine it but my budget is quite small as im just setting up a turtle tank so i can't get a new substrate or uv bulbs or anything like that so is there any plants that can live in low light ,and perhaps take nutrients from the water (fish poop) any suggestions guys ? thanks for any help and sorry for being so exat but there's no point going out buying loads of plants and them dying so i thought i'd ask the experts thanks
