Hi as you can see, the tank is now looking very green. Take it from me the water is crystal clear. Iam looking to add some colour using live plants + ones that want be attacked or munched by the fish. Has anyone got any ideas. The current plants are growing so well I'm having to trim them back.

I'm sure there is some-one out there who can help. :good:

ludwigia repens
hygrophillia 'rosanervig'

they are the easiest of red plants, they will only turn red under high lighting though. The plants you have in your tank dont require much hence why you have fast growth.

You could also try cryptocoryne species as there is seom browns and dark greens in some varieties. They melt when first introduced but soon grow back.

Thanks aaronnorth,

Have made a note on those, will trawl around and see if I can get some locally.

Cheers
