Planted Tank

I've got a 60 gal tank that I'm planning on having up & running in a few months. I would like to do it up as a planted tank, but wonder about any damage my two 10" plecos would do to the plants. They already uproot silk & plastic plants in my 55 gal. unless I pin the plants down with large rocks. Also, I read that they tend to eat some plants. Having never done a tank with live plants I want to plan this out well ahead of time. Any help would be immensely appreciated!

I have a common Pleco who's around 3 inches long. He's in a planted tank and I have had no problems iwth him uprooting plants or eating them. I currently have some sort of Lilly in there (can't remember exactly what it is) and some Anacharus. He loves to hide in the plants...even better than he likes to hide in his "tube" (a piece of PVC pipe), which I think is cool. NOt sure how larger Plecos are with plants though...
