Can you tell me what i should buy first as i am changing to a high tech heavily planted tank.
I am going to use luminaire lighting at 3.6wpg and jbl profi set 1 pressurized co2.
Im also going to need plants of course.
should i get them all the same time or which should i buy first?
I have been told i need fast growers at first but i dont know when i should add them.
Thanks :good:

People will laugh but to get me started I got one of those '50 packs' from ebay (5 x 10 varieties) and was only about £20. They're doing OK under 1.5w per G awaiting my updates to the tank (laterite, sand, Co2 etc.)

Yeh to start with get lots of fast growing stem plants, there is a list in the pinned EI artilce of good ones to use. Once you've got the tank nice and stable, you can then start to change these for more long term species.

Can do, but I would probably get everything ready and set up and then add the plants after, but if you've got a weekend free and/or the tank is already running then there is no reason why you cant do it all in one go :) But give yourself at least a day, it takes a surprisingly long time to convert a tank!
