Planted Attempt.

hiya peoples!
i'm trying to turn my 12 gallon ram tank into a planted tank. i have some java fern, a sword plant and some weird grassy looking plant. this is my first attempt. any tips?
the tank has:
2 blue rams,
1 golden wonder killi (a small male),
1 ghost shrimp,
and a few black skirt tetras i will be moving to larger quarters.
the filter is a tetra ex20.

ok, what wattage is your lamp?

are you willing to upgrade etc?

What are your aims?

it's 19 watts,
i can upgrade,
and i'm trying to get a well planted tank that stays alive for a while.

you have a decent amount of light, you dont have to upgrade unless you are wanting to have a high tec setup, which will need CO2.
