Planted Aqua One Regencey 100

This is my tank its been set up for a few months now but I have just got a new filter (2078) which means the old fluval 4 will be coming out once its matured.

Having some big algae issues but a constant CO2 supply seems to be combating that now. Although my Java moss is just not growing and is a right mess. Any ideas?

Hi, I sometimes get the same effect with my Christmas Moss. I use one of those small plastic bladed algae scrapers on a rod to gently beat it to disturb all the sludge that cloggs the moss up and prevents it flourishing.

Nice tank Regarding the moss-remove as much algae as you can by hand, then spread it out thinly over your nice driftwood, Tieing it to the wood with some cotton thread. What so of cory is that? Very nice.

What ferts are you dosing?

I'm doing EI. Uped my trace amount as the Java fern was doing poorly.

3/4 tsp KNO3 3x a week
1/4 tsp KH2PO4 3x a week
1/4 tsp K2SO4 3x a week

1/2 tsp traces 3x a week

I put the dry ferts into a bottle of water to mix them before adding them to the tank. I found if I added them dry then the fish tryed to eat them.

That tank is stunning, you have done a really nice job of that are you done getting all your fish now? it looks like you are on the limit.

Yeah I'm full. Think I might loose 2-3 of of the rainbows as the top half of the tank is a bit crowded. Good thing that the barbs & cardinals shoal on the bottom half.

Need to loose one of the Opaline Gouramis as they dont get along.
