Plant Weights?

Just got some new plants in the post, and they came without weights

I thought most were made of lead, but i googled this and found something that said, while they are called lead, they are usually zinc alloy

just wondered if i could use lead, as i can get hold of some tomorrow

or anything else around the house that will do?

The roots aren't quite long enough to bury in the gravel

Weights aren't necessary for plants. Most people don't use weights. You can just plant the plants that don't have roots a bit deeper. I'm not sure if lead would be safe in an aquarium.
