Hi all....this is my first time having live plants. I have a plant that has white fuzz on it's bulb. Any idea what it is or if it's bad? I haven't noticed it on any of the others. I think it should be planted, but it floats and I haven't secured it yet. I bought a mixture of bulbs that said chuck it into tank and they'll grow. That's what I did! i really have no idea what they are, but suspect they'll die because I'm changing my tank to a cichlid tank. The ph is now 8.4 instead of 7. Should I be concerned about my Java moss and ferns getting this fuzz?

I expect its a fungal growth, I would wash it off the bulb and then plant the bulb and the plant might take off, the leaves look healthy still. I doubt it will bother your moss or ferns.
