Hello,

I have had the Fluval Edge tank for about a month now and pretty much have it cycled and ready to roll

but given that its a small tank 6 gallons/23L i didnt want to fill it to the brim with plants/ornaments etc.

But now its up and going the tank has a bare look about it.

I have a 2 medium size ornaments in the tank and x2 syth plants

can anyone suggest a few more live plantsto add please.

Thanks.

Lee.

Do you have a current picture of the tank? I just started one, also. I used it to upgrade my 5g tank.

Since its a Fluval Edge (thus in the small tank range more or less) I'll assume you have no plans to inject pressurized CO2 and your tank lighting wattage is in the 0.8 to 1.5 watt/USgallon range (?)

That should all be a pretty safe assumption and would mean you'd want to be looking at what we call "low-light" or "easy" plant species. There are some lists of these in the top of the planted tank section or you can do searches on these things. In your case with the clean modern look of the edge, I'd probably want to go with rooted plants with well defined and larger leaves perhaps (small swords or crypts perhaps? (careful, its hard to find small sword varieties! Usually they grow too big) Perhaps an anubia variety attached to a rock? Perhaps a little field of vals?
