have got a big gap in my tank i need to fill near the filter outlet, all the plants i have at the mo are too delicate and dont seem to like the current i have some plants due to be delivereed next week cambomba australis and elodea densa. fairly sure the cambomba will need to be away from outlet but how about the elodea densa? if not could anybody reccomend a suitable background plant for this area please?

you could try some drif wood with anubias atached. Or posibly some of the more robust sword plants

I found elodea densa to be delicate. I use a fake piece of wood with Java fern on it to hide my sponge filter.

Standard onion plants seem to thrive with the water movement...

or try densely planted crypt crispatula.

will take time to grow tall but will reach up and roots well
