The duration is usually dependent upon "problem algae" issues. If the light intensity and available nutrients are balanced, higher plants will use them and algae is thwarted. But if the light duration is greater than what is balanced by the nutrients, plants cannot photosynthesize fully and algae has the advantage. So it is unique to each aquarium. For years I had my tanks lit for 15 hours. But a decade or more after that, I had brush algae issues and had to reduce the lighting until it was 7 hours daily, and in seven years have not had any algae issues. You have a fairly thick plant load, including fast growers (these plants require light and nutrients more than slow growers would), and I don't see problem algae, so you clearly seem to have it balanced. Don't rock the boat!
