Plant Id?

It's green and rooted and fans out into several stiff reeds about 1 cm wide, and they keep growing and growing and growing super fast?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like some sort of sword. You would need a pic for comparison.

I haven't seen a sword like this but thanks anyway. I'd take a pic if my camera worked, so for now I'll keep searching
