Plant Id Please

I'm having trouble with the middle plants.

They seem to be going brown in the middle whilst growing well on the top. I'm after a plant ID so I can try and work out the problem.

Bacopa monnieri/water hyssop maybe and the brown does it rub off Brown algae (Diatoms)or are they rotting, this plant normally grows well and pretty fast

The lower to mid leaves are slowly rotting but the top half of the plant is growing well with new buds appearing.

I'm adding liquid ferts at the moment and I've ordered some root tabs but I'm thinking that they need more light.

Sounds like a plan.

Noob question, is it just as simple as cutting the stem and replanting, does it matter where I cut?

I'm no expert but tony from planted tanks selby told me to
Cut them and remove the first leaves and replant, at some point you will
Need to cut them as they will grow out, mine are at the rear so I don't
Notice the lower leaves that have died off

That's great, thanks for the advice. I'll give it a go if they keep deteriorating.

It will be more like lunchtime for me, by the time I get the kids ready. It's good to know such a shop even exists let alone not far away
