Hi,

It looks like a crypt. Take a look at www.tropica.com for a positive ID.

Yes, it's a Cryptocorin(sp) aka Crypt (for the less knowledgable people like moi!). It's a heavy root feeder and should be given plant food, but however mine are doing well and have never been given any TLC, just sand and the occasional Co2 tab (which I seem to of lost).

i dont know if this helps but the lad i got it off said
that the main plant sends off runners and u get new shoot coming off
