ok ive just bought a 24 uk gallon tank - 75cmL X 30cmW X 47 cmD

I am intending to use sand substrate and want to know which plants are suitable. I have very limited lighting of one flourescent tube.

So if any1 can suggest some easy to look after (im a complete beginner), Low light requirement, sand loving plants then please tell me the names and i will buy some.

Would also like something quite tall to cover the corner where my filter goes as its a bit unsightly!

any help/ suggestions appreciated

As for covering the filter, valls and/or amazon swords tend to work well.
