As this is about plants, I'm moving to to the plants section where people who are keen on plants like to answer questions about plants.

Mo_loves_fish - We need to know a few things before answering that question.

Tank size, lighting and plant species are a good start. If you're semi-serious about keeping a planted tank then take some time to read the pinned articles at the top of the this forum. There's most things you need to know are there.

thank you for moving it here i totaly forgot about this area ill get alot more answers here lol

-plants are some long grass type thing and some thing else not sure and not sure what the lighting is jee i am a great help

Lighting is almost always the planted tank beginners problem.

I'll take a guess that the plant is some species of Vallisneria. Assuming it is straight leaved, i.e. not twisted/spiral, it is not a difficult plant to keep alive. Even under moderately low light it will survive. To get it really going, you need Medium light, which is defined as 2 Watts per gallon of full spectrum (5000K - 6700K), fluorescent lighting switched on for 10-12 hours per day.

Vallis is predominantly a root feeder, so an occasional treat of a root tab, (a small pellet of fertiliser specifically formulated for aquarium use), will be appreciated.
