plant food!

rite i feed my plants tablets under the gravel for the swords amazon, malayan varities. i also feed them a lfs bought bottle mix, nowit occured to me while reading about putting chemicals in tank to sure fish diseases that the carbon filters it out, so surely if i add a liquid food mix the filter is gonna take some out. slightly confused, now y i thought of these now i dont knwo

The carbon will take out some of the trace elements/metals that plants need, so u should remove it really.
