Planned stocking

If I can get a 40 gallon setup
-6 zebra danios
-3 clown loaches
-2 blue rams
-3 cockatoos
-1 severum

If I end up wiht a 30 long
Smae as the stock as I have now maybe a small school of tetras.

severum may get too big. apart from that adn the clown loaches soudn sgood. I know u have plans fo rthe loaches though.

The severum would eat the danios, the danios would eat all of the dwarf cichlids food (I've seen it happen, and now I'm stuck with those danios in my exile tank ), the clowns get too big

Keep it at a pair of rams, trio of cockatoos, and some sort of tetras
Peaceful gouramis and corydoras would also make good tank mates Croaking gouramis and honey gouramis are the most peaceful gouramis I have ever seen and owned

Severums eat danios? I have 2 in my 55 after they cycled it. I doubt the severum could catch the danios.

Frank- The severum would probly get too big and is best left out. Also if u Really are goin gto get a 100 in the next 6 months to a year i would leave those out too.

true. Mine doesnt seem to mind when A danio takes a chunk of his food but then again the danio doesnt fit in its mouth

Ok hmmm I knwo the clowns get big slowly so their ok, the danios are fine the cichlids get their food in my 20. Not really a 100 I wish, more along the lines of a 75 max, more likly a 55. Its enough for my small clowns until I can move out and get them a bigger tank in a couple years.
