Planaria..?

I've just found a HUGE population of these chaps in my breeding tank (bare bottom and minimal deco)... I have been feeding very sparsly recently with a view to do a W~C and copious live foods stating Sunday, so they are not from overfeeding... however, I've put capatta leaves in there for water conditioning and for a breeding ground for infusoria, they have been in there for a few weeks and have started to break down (the leaves) could this be how the planaria have come to be?

Yep the leaf breakdown products and the fungi/bateria that are doing the job are lovely munchables for tiny harmless planaria
