i have planaria in my planted tank. it's driving me mad! damn things won't go away.
i give it (7.5 US Gallon) a good gravel vac and water change once a week (about 25% ish, i get carried away!) in the tank is 1 betta, 3 ottos, 2 red ramshorn snails, over stocked a little i know, but the ottos have been there since about February and if they had problems I'd be more worried but they seem happy and healthy. But the little planaria have started cropping up over the last 2 weeks and they just make the tank look...ewwww

i know they're not BAD for the fish or anything, but any tips? i try to clean it as thoroughly as i can without taking too much water out and upsetting the fish. it's hard with such a small tank.

with regards to feeding, my betta is hand fed and the ottos get one plec flake every 2 days (and all they can eat with algae), so the only thing in the gravel is poop.

If you were in the US I'd buy a few off of you, I remember these guys froms seventh grade science, you can cut them part way down the middle and they eventually seperate into two seperate ones....

Not real helpful am I? Sorry, that's about the only information I remember about them...

I have some crazy pond life, i just scooped some out of the pond and they layed eggs already, better feed the things before my room becomes infested with flys! Could be similar to what I have
