Read threads where some fishkeepers use ping pong balls to amuse there fish, do you guys or girls use anything to amuse your fish.

I have used ping pong balls. Years ago, when I had a couple of Oscars, they loved it! :D Once a day I would drop the ball in and they would chase it for ages! My current community setup lost interest very quickly (the Gourami stayed interested for the longest, but then he bustles up to anything that comes into the tank lol!).

Just thought it was funny so they do actually play with them.

We have a couple of wobbly jellyfish that float in the community tank. The kribs are always pushing them around, and the clown loaches seem to spend a lot of time preening and fussing over them.

lol, glad your fish enjoy those jelly fish sir!!

i read on a arowana forum they put balls in aro tanks so it helps reduce the arowanas dropping there eyes from looking at whats beneath them all the time and keeping there interest up high.

would any of the fish in my sig like anything to play with.

yeah i know. I want another few but i have a problem. He wont eat in my 55. i moved him in a nd he dint eat for 10 days so i moved him back. I cant fit 3 in a 10 gallon tank. I see those submarine things on ebay all the time. i was thinking the shark might like a ping pong ball cuz he is always swimming top speed and he has no one to play with or chase.

hmmm, never heard of it. *goes to get some ping pong balls*

I have only ever heard of this in relation to lone oscars to keep them from getting bored. Interesting to know if other fish would enjoy it though.
