Ping pong balls.

dont go crazy on me now, but it seems like fish dont really have fun. what seems fun to us is probably just pissing them off or scaring them. getting chased by something(submarine) would scare the hell out of fish. it may seem like the fish is having fun by pushing it around, but it might be that the fish is trying to get it away or eat it. just my opinion cause you dont see sharks or any other fish having fun.

if u have a betta own his own and u have a lava lamp, then put the lava lamp near the tank and see ur betta going up and down trying to catch it. lol

Lol' i'm going to have to try this, I know my betta would love it, he already plays hide and seek in the Javaferns, and scares the other fish when they go near

Now I KNOW I'm in the right community! Radio controlled subs, rubber duckies, ping pong balls and lava lamps!

Actually I would LOVE to try a lava lamp on old Jack. He gets mad when I put the siphon into his tank to clean it so I wouldn't put anything directly into his tank water. But it is a cool idea. I know fish are supposed to have limited brains but this would sure prevent fishy boredom. Most of my fish are quite timid so they're fine as they are, chasing each other and checking for food.

I used to put a ufo fibreotic light on outside the tank and they would love the different colours of light shining into the tank, but it broke.

acually the fish chase it they bite it like crazy, and its made so that when ever it touches somehting the prop auto shut off, its really touchy, its very well made acually.. hella fun too the convicts CANT STAND IT!! hehe they love playing with it
