can anyone tell me if there are any tell tell signs when she's ready to have her fry?

Do you have any pics? Usually her gravid spot will move towards her anus, her stomach will be shaped like a box, she will be more seclusive, and she'll not want to eat.

i don't have any good pics but your description is right on,except for the eating.she still has a good appetite.how soon should i put her in a breeder bag?

Do you have any pics period? If you do post them, as sometimes they look ready but there not and it can take a trained eye to tell for sure. I would try to post pics before putting her in first.

looks due any day( or moment =]). I would defo put her in the breeder. Breeders can be stressful though, so if you have a spare tank avalible , put her in that, as she was a better chance of surviving and a better chance of giving birth to live healthy babies.

i've been through this before with my other female (in a different tank)and i put her in a breeder bag,let her have the fry and took her out and she has had fry since then.i'm going to try that again and hope that it works.
