Pinchy my cray

Hi all

I’ve had Pinchy my Redclaw cray since he was a little feeder. He’s gotten to be around 9cm (3.5in) now and comes running out of his cave when he sees me at feed time, I have got him taking food from my hand which it so cute. But tonight I caught him trying to corner one of my little albino Corys in his cave, that was his only warning and now has been removed to my plant tank with cooler water which will slow his metabolism down and hopefully give him an attitude adjustment! (Ha I think the attitude will get bigger as he grows but he’s so cute I’ll just put up with it I suppose. )

Just want to give warning, I was lucky to get him to this stage in the tank with my fin babies but as they grow and they get to flourish the waters abit more the attitude and aggressiveness becomes a lot bolder!

I had a crayfish once, he was alright until he got to be around 5 inches long then he was like a bulldozer and tore up the tank. He also would go after the fish if they got too close. I had him in a 55 gallon tank. I had to give him away.
