Pimelodella Angelicus

I've being treating my tank for Whitespot with Protozin by Waterlife. It states doseage should be halved if scaleless loaches are present. I've finished the treatment at full dose but my Pimelodella Angelicus is now gasping and the tips of it's tail fins are red barbels are limp.

Are they scaleless and should I have halved the dose.

Will putting activated carbon back in the filter save the fish?

Please help, it is a very beautiful fish with lots of character.

Do a large water change to get the med out, but you might have already damaged the fish, good luck.
