Pilea Species/aliminum Plant

I just bought one of these, now what the heck do I do with it. I put it into the gravel, with the remnants of a resd tider lotus and a hanging moss ball going between the leaves. I am hoping the lotus will come back, growing up through the aluminum and wrapping around the string for that floating moss ping pong ball thingy. Worht a shot....may look good.


By the way, where is the best plance to buy cheap slate? And, what do I have to do to make sure it is ok to put into my aquarium? Boil it?

Why not just plant the aluminium plant in a pot on your windowsil?

If you want loads of slate you can buy it in big bags from places like garden centers, but slate's not exactly very expensive at the lfs, just way more than it would usually be if purchased in bulk. A couple of decent bit's of slate should only cost like £3. I just rinse it under tap water.
