Pictus Pregnant?

One of my 2 pictus catfish I have looks pregnant and has been hiding in a small cave created by the way my driftwood lays. I just noticed today when I feed them when it came out to eat its stomach is big, but the rest of its body looks normal, my other one is the smaller of the 2 and is doing fine, not hiding or anything. I have researched and it says that this fish rarely have ever been recorded breeding in a tank. The Pictus's are only a week old so could it just be sick with something?

It can't be pregnant, as such, as they lay eggs. It could be full with eggs, it could be constipated, it could have dropsy.
 
I assume you mean by "a week old" that you only bought it a week ago? How long ago was the tank set up? What are the vital statistics (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH)? How did you cycle the filter? How often do you carry out water changes, and what proportion of water do you change?
