Doris is a cutie :) What do you keep your beta with? or is its own tankmate

well doris is in with eric my male betta but they have a divider. the tank is like 1.5 gallons. i think it would b to much if there was anything else in there.
do u have a betta?

No i dont have a beta.

But im planning to get one into my 60ltr planted :) Wont be dividing him though, he will be in with the community :) that will be in about 6 weeks or so. its not ready yet for fish. if im honest haven't even started cycling it :) looking to get fish in it in the mid of may. So need to get moving.

And i have never owned a beta. but sure enough fallen in love with them so its about time i got one :)

omg thats awsome!
u should totally get one or like 5! haha jk but yea there really pretty

Ohh i will be :) im toying with the idea of 1 male and 3 females but depends how they will be with the rest of stock. :good: :) :)

please do not add both sexes to the same tank you will end up with injured/dead fish, if you want more than one get all females

i have 2 pairs a bit further down the page :good: can't put them all up or i'd need a whole page  i have 5 Males 14 Females and 3 Wild Types :look:

i have 4 males divided in a 60l tank, the other male in anoth 60l divided off, with the wilds in the other bit and all the females live together in my 125l community.

umm they are quite addictive :look: and i'm just starting to breed

Really? :( i have seen this a few times with apparently no issues, but ill take your advice deffinatly :) if thats what you say then 1 male it is.

there may be no issues at the time but sooner or later there will be, with such lovely fish for me its just not worth the risk :good: even some females have to be kept seperate
