Hi there,
As part of my final year university coursework, I have set out to produce an educational flash game titled Tropitank, a beginners guide to tropical fish keeping. Users will be able to explore the globe looking at a variety of fish species and habitats, to in turn try to build the perfect aquarium.
We set out this project not only to raise the profile of tropical fish keeping, but to help beginners learn how to create a suitable environment for a variety of regularly kept fish species. Being a tropical fish keeper myself, allowing beginners in the hobby to practice on artificial fish through this medium first will hopefully prevent real-life disasters, be it death, disease, overcrowding or incompatibility of fish species.
Therefore I'm requesting if anyone who would be willing to share images (royalty free) of their fish and tropical plants. I know their are some great photographers in this forum who would give my product a great basis to build on.
I'm unable to offer anything, only that your fish/plant specimen may be featured heavily in the flash game
Members who provide a quantity of images may be credited in the game
Im after a variety of pictures (tropical fish, plants, tank setups) so please share what you can
Most images provided will be heavily edited in photoshop. There is no financial gain to be made in this product (only me passing my degree-hopefully!)
Regards,
Lee Timson - Head Coordinator Tropitank & fish enthusiast
