good composition, i'm guessing you took them on a camera phone, so fair play to you

Thanks for the comments, to be honest I had never seen any until i got them about 5 months ago, but know of at least 3 local shops selling them currently if you want some lilfishie.

Yep the photos are taken with my phone, which unfortunately gives them a bit of a yellow tinge sometimes. The pics were taken about 10 mins before the lights went off. I've found it really hard to get pictures of them earlier in the day as they are so active! They were well fed and sleepy which helped :p

i am very tempted to ask where, but currently no space available, hmm maybe another tank coming my way :shifty:

Cool.
Never seen that variant before.
I was half expecting someone accuse them of being dyed

wow, beautiful fish.i can honestly say i've never seen those before either.

Great looking fish, been seeing them quite a lot in the lfs lately. Have you seen the black/purple emperor tetras?

I've not seen any purple emperor tetras yet, i'll keep my eyes open for them.

They should get along fine with normal harlequins, they are a line bred colour morph so are really the same species.
