that is way to many fish for a 2 gallon tank! the rule is one gallon of water per inch of fish! u should also get the momma and daddy away from teh young cause da might eatem!

u mean male bettas. u can put female bettas in about anything.i cept anything smaller than a puddle.

pretty fish im gunna buy some livebearers tomorrow any suggestions and how many i have a 20 gal tank with 4 neons and 4 cory cats

YES I KNOW IT WAS SMALL I BOUGHT 2 THE BLACK FEMALE AND THE YELLOW MALE THEN THE NEXT DAY THER WAS BABYS I DID NOT EXPECT THAT !!! AND YES I HAVE TO GO WHE I HAVE A CHANCE BUT SO FAR THE MOTHER DONT EAT EM THEY EVEN PUT THEM SELFS IN HER MOUTH LOL SHE SPITS THEM OUT AND THE YELLOW MALE RUNS FROM THEM THEY PICK ON HIM LOL

A 2gallon tank is too small for all of your fish apart from the shrimp, mollys and algae eaters need a 10gallon minimum. Molly fry take a year to mature but you don't even have the space to raise them anyways. I seriously suggest you upgrade your tank to a 10gallon minimum, 2gallon tanks are only good for bettas, shrimp and snails and nothing else :/ .

:D :D HEY ALL I BOUTH A 55 GALLON TANK FOR MY BABYS AND I DID NOT PUT THEM IN YET I NEED TO CLEAN IT THEN LET SET THEN PUT MY BABYS IN !!!! :D :D

Congrats on the new tank but you need to cycle it before you can put any fish in otherwise they'll die, you can read up more on cycling a tank and how to do it in the beginners section in the pinned articles

or, u could buy pre cycled material, goes faster, tank can be cycled in about six days.

is that only a 2 gallon tank it looks bigger than that
:kewlpics: they all look beautiful

sad time
tank fixed whaiting for it to be ready and today i seen :-( my sunset platy floating on top ! i went to go clean up then my mom seen him and flushed him !!! :byebye: i was going to berry him but she fushed him i changed the water in the 2 galllon i took out like 25 % and put 25% new water do you think something wrong do you think it was over crouded or was it that the female was picking on him ???? im confused ?? :/

If you have all the fish you had in there before, it is most likely he died from bad water conditions due to overstocking. The female MIGHT have been picking on him, because they are all crowded together, but I doubt that. He also might have had a disease.

But I'm betting the overstocking problem.

:rip: Little guy.
