Just got 4 guppies yesterday night and Im already in love with them. I never knew they were so active! My female is pregnant, I think she was pregnant while she was in the LFS cant wait until I see the fry! But first I need to get a breeder net. Propably get it on friday/saturday shes not ready yet as I can see she doesnt look like shes going to pop. ... Heres the pix: Enjoy! ;)

My 10 gallon...Look closely and you can see the guppies swimming around.

Looks cool... very bright... those cave things are pretty cool... cheaper then driftwood.. the only problem I've had is the plants falling off.... if you have some aquarium silicone you should add lots of it to the stem part of the plant that attatches it to the cave piece... pretty much all of the plants have fallen off mine.

Very nice, you planning on getting any more guppies?

Im not sure if im going to get anymore... ... Hopefully if I'm right my females are pregnant. But other than that Im wondering if any other fish would go with my guppies. Can I seperate my male guppy and my females so that I can have a fraternity tank? I want to have a school of small neon tetras with my male guppy. The LFS said that I have to wait for a month before I get any other fish with my guppies. I really don't know why but I'm just wondering if I can get a school of small Neon Tetras? Is that possible? But I just don't want the male to eat all the tetras. :/

You could get some neon tetras. But some people say they are fin nippers, but i havent had any problems. You could try it, but if anything happens take them out and bring them back to your shop.

Yeah, nice tank.

It looks like the WalMart 10G starter kit delux. Am I right?

Nice tank man, I think I have that type of filter :) . Nice guppies too, I'm starting to consider them now, as I'm getting new fish this weekend. Well anyway, nice setup there, looks great.

Well your the first person to get that one RIGHT. ... I see you've updated yourself with the stock of wal-mart. Nice.
Lol, see, the thing is I have 2 of those exact same tanks.
I also have the 5G and the 55G version of it, lol ;)
They are just soo much cheaper!!

Yeah not so cheaper than Petco, Petcos one goes for $50.00 this one that I bought is $49.95 not much of a diffrence but compare it to other LPS it is pretty cheap. ;)

Thanks, Yeah that filter works pretty good. Im not sure what its called though. Do you know? Guppies are pretty good fish. Very lively and a pretty good variety of colors. I would reccomend it for begginers but they breed too much. A way you can get rid of the babies is just leave them on their own. Or you can trade them in to the LFS for store credit. But survival of the fittest works best which is leaving them on their own and only taking in the ones that survived, hence the name "SURVIVAL of the fittest. :D

Love the orange one

Yeah hes pretty. I like him too  . But hes pretty small... , hopefully hell grow. Its suprising hes all orange. All of the others are multi-colored.

Nice tank with spectacular guppies

Thanks a lot. There the first guppies I ever had. I only have experience with Betta's. :shifty:

It says, Penguin Mini Power Filter on the Owners manual, so that might be the name. Oh, I also suggest you get a backdrop thing to make it look even better. Thanks for the advice on what to do with the babies. I think I'll just trade them in for store credit. Good luck with your tank.

nice pics. i got the same tank! but your's looks so much bigger.... :)
