Pictures Of My 10 Gallon Guppy Tank And Some Of My Guppies!

Nice tank man, I think I have that type of filter :) . Nice guppies too, I'm starting to consider them now, as I'm getting new fish this weekend. Well anyway, nice setup there, looks great.

Thanks, Yeah that filter works pretty good. Im not sure what its called though. Do you know?
Actually, the brand of filter WalMart and other kits' usually use is Whisper.
They are cheap and easy to use filters, especially for the begginer.

nice pics. i got the same tank! but your's looks so much bigger.... :)
Its all about using the right angle to make sure people think your tank is big. ...

those are some very nice fish you have there, your tank looks so neat and clean :) keep up the good work

Yeah, I'm not so sure I like the way people just clutter up there tank to make it look like a jungle. Even though the fish did come from the wild, I like to make sure my plants are in the right place. Neat Freak! :nerd: .

It says, Penguin Mini Power Filter on the Owners manual, so that might be the name. Oh, I also suggest you get a backdrop thing to make it look even better. Thanks for the advice on what to do with the babies. I think I'll just trade them in for store credit. Good luck with your tank.

Yeah I think its called whisper like Ethos said. If you do get Guppies try asking the store first before you get them so you can make sure you have a place to put the fry if you get an overload.

-Arrowhead :D

Hey, do you not have guppies anymore? Your sig says u have the corys and neon tetras.

Yeah :-( :( :/ . I had to let go of them when I found out that they were pregnant. I just didnt have room for any fry so I thought it would be better for them to go back in there original homes and get others...

Oh, ok then. Be sure to post pics of your new fish. :)

I would of kept them if I were you, they wouldn't of survived. You need a heavily planted tank for the fry to survive, otherwise they will get eaten. Also, if there's a male around, the female will be pregnat. They can also store sperm for up to 7 months.

I bet the reason that the LFS said you couldn't get neons right away was because your tank wasn't cycled yet. I'm assuming you are cycling it now with the tetras and cories you got? Albinos will get too big for that 10 gallon and would probably be happier in something bigger- why not trade for some pygmy cories?

Yea, that's probably a good idea. Pigmy corys wont get much bigger than an inch and a half if that much. Oh, and you'll be lucky if the neons do survive. They're not too great for cycling a tank.
