His fins were abit ripped from when I brought it at the LFS but now hes nearly fully healed

Beautiful catfish, i have one of these which is getting on for 18" now, its nice to see another member with a taste for the large and predatory fish.

Oh yes, these are absolutely beautiful when fully grown, this thing eats like a horse now.

My wife wasnt keen at first when I was telling her how big these things grow but now shes seen them shes more than happy for me to get bigger and better tanks as they grow

Cant really get pics of him, hes out, grabs food and back in again. The funny thing about this one is that wherever the lung goes he goes, they were seperated by a divider in the tank at one point and both the lung and him hung around beside each other with the divider between them. When I lifted the divider he would rest or sleep and the lung would curl up around him like a blanket, great to see...I will try and get a pic when I get a chance.
