This is the new one I was trying to figure out if I could have tank mates in with him. Turns out he doesn't play well with others so it wouldn't have worked out anyway!
He has a little hiding spot and all the plants are real which is where he likes to go to sleep. You can just see his tail poking down.

that tank looks great for him , i bet hes well happy :D
it a shame you cant have any tank mates with him.

That is an excellent tank for a betta! Not too tall but nice and long :D

Aww, I can see his fishy butt poking out of the plants

Why thanks you. He seems to enjoy it. Its got an elite mini filter in there now which doesnt bother him at it's on the lowest output so not a great deal of current from it.

Aww its too bad he doesnt play well with others. How do you know though? did you try it out?

Sweet tank!! :hyper: I like the dimensions of it, and love the natural look. ^_^

What about a shoal of cories? They are super duper cute and I've never heard of a case where there was conflict between them and a betta. Especially since cories stay in the middle-bottom of the tank and bettas tend to hang out towards the middle-top. They've got spiky fins and should be able to protect themselves against a betta, unless he's super nasty. Still worth a try though, I think! :D

I got a couple of tiny otto's to keep in there then i was going to move them into my tank but he just picked on them the whole timee whether they were at the bottom or middle or top. He used to just stare at them for a bit then attack and chase after them I had to move them after less than 24 hours and one died.

Hmm, i can't see his butt but im going to buy from Joby aswell in the coming months so get ready to send some betta to lowestoft Jo :p

Ooh. P.S - great looking tank :)

What a purdy tank.. I want to make me ten gallon look like that but I dont want to bother with changing the substrate just yet. What a choreeee. Haha.

Well I'm sure he loves it. :)

Oh I'm so jealous! I love those tanks and want one badly, but they're like... 49 bucks out here, and since I do rescue work, I can't justify spending the money when I can get a 5g for 12 bucks. Maybe I should put it on my christmas wish list... hehe.
Awesome tank! Most bettas don't appreciate tank mates, so I'm not surprised that he was a naughty boy. However, I think he's going to love the space; every betta deserves a swinging pad like that!
