yeah thanks for that it does look a hell of a lot better, not so bare now i kind just placed it any way and it turned out like that lol

My labs were like that until I added some more fish. They tend to gain confidence when they have plenty of tankmates.

Your tank looks very nice, it'll look even more natural once you get a nice coating of algae on the rocks.

Personally i think it looks good clean, but very hard to keep clean if u want to stay that way.

it does look better white i reckon but im just gona let the algae grow so the fish can graze on it and im gona get a coulpe of plecs to help control it a bit....
As for plants i do plan on getting some eventually.

The white does look pretty, but itsn't not very practical, besides, IMO not mbuna tank is complete without some algae.
