As promised my three boys! Hopefully these are better pictures than the last lot!
They had to go into the small breeding tank that goes inside of my main community tank when I cleaned their tanks today. I was worried about doing this but it turned out pretty well. The tank I normally put them in when I clean their tanks developed a huge crack right down the base so I'll buy one tomorrow but it just wasn't safe to put them in there today....... anyway enough rambling!
I have two females in my main community tank at the moment but it looks like I might be able to get a new tank for them, and only them next week!! YAY!! I'm getting about 15 tanks including a 4footer, two 3footers, one 2footer and lots of small ones from someone who is moving (I'm getting them for free too!!!!!!!!!!)
So hope to set up a female betta tank next week - yay!
When in there they all ignored one another really, no flaring, no problems, nothing, it was really funny, Tinkerbell and Titania swam up to the small tank and took one look and then swam away again, the males didn't seem to bother even looking! I guess breeding could be fun...hmm!!!
Right anyway! Firstly Oberon, when he arrived he had eaten his caudal fin but you can now see clear new growth which I am very excited about!

Next Peter Pan..... I so wish his colours were clearer, he is such amazing colours, turquoise, blue, red... a real stunner!

I know he has faint stress stripes he didn't like being caught and transferred one bit but his tank needed cleaning!
Next Puck..... again problems with not showing his colours properely. He is amazing colours, pink, red, purple with a few white/irridescant bits at the base (near his body) of his fins.

Another thing with Puck is that he has a little curl which is simply adorable, he has a wisp of dorsal fin that has a little curl at the bottom........so, so, so, so cute!!

I would have loved to have got pictures of them flaring but I didn't want to introduce a mirror in case this did stress them or Tinkerbell and Titania out!!!!
Anyway, hope you like them. Please tell me honestly! I would love feedback on my boys although I love them no matter what!!

Thought I'd put some pictures of the girls on too so they don't feel left out!!
They are stress striped pretty bad as this is when they forst arrived they are sisters, but completely different. Their colour is now stunning,
Tinkerbell seems to have a blue body with pink tints. She also has blue stripes through her fins and what appears to be slight crowning in her caudal (but I think that might be wishful thinking, it's developed a bit more now!) She has a lot of guts and causes havoc in the tank. She is always the first one to food and to nibble my finger when I'm not expecting it (when I'm in the middle of adjusting the filter or something) and scares the c**p out of me!!!!!
So here's Tinkerbell
Hippy228.jpg

Titania on the other hand has the obvious double tail and her colour osn't quite as developed although her caudal fin appears to be red whereas her other fins are blue/purple colour, she is a beauty too and a bit more shy than her sister. Enough talk.....here she is;

The cutest one of them I have currently, thought I'd throw this in too as it is adorable.....

Again this is when they first arrived and I felt like they were judging me!
Tink to Titania = Ooooh new land walker
Titania to Tink = I don't understand why they don't live in water and swim....it's so wierd!
Tink to Titania = Look this one is different to our old land-walker
Titania to Tinkerbell = Yep, much wierder, look at her opening and closing her mouth and making strange noises at us, she's not even making bubbles.
Tink to Titania = I know they're so wierd not making bubbles!
Titania to Tinkerbell = Do you think she's ever going to feed us?!? Does she not realise that we've just travelled 24 hours and were starved before hand!
Tinkerbell to Titania = I know. HUH! Right, lets go and explore!

I've had them a while now and they have fitted in well and truly! I can't imagine life without them now. My betta collection continues to grow but I have to be careful as I am going away for 6 weks in December and then 4-6 months in May and my Mum is going to be looking after them and although she loves them she's not looking forward to the tank changes or the fear of doing something wrong!

they are gorgeous. I really love Peter Pan, his colors are soooo cute....

YAY!! A reply! Thank you!! I was beginning to feel unloved too!
Peter Pan is a stunner. Those pictures don't do him justice though, his colouring is amazing! I've never seen a fish like him yet. I don't mind that he's 'just a veiltail' as he is so stunning to me. Plus his character is to die for. So calm and mature at times.
I love them all though!

I started out with veils and I have some really cute ones. Who cares if they are just veils, mutts always make the best pets! :p

So Peter Pan seems to be the favourite!! He is so different in character to my other two boys, so much more chilled. I think Puck has very unusual colours as well, but you're right there is something SO stunning about Peter Pan's colouring. I think Oberon (a half moon) is going to be stunning when his tail grows back as well!

Of your boys, I think I like Puck the best. My George is just a veil tail too, but he's my favorite (probably because he was the first).

I think they're adorable! I haven't been here for a few days or I would have commented sooner!

Wow, Oberon could be Spyro's brother <<<<------ seee avatar.

Except Spyro is a Vt, although when he flares he is more like a delta.

Sarah, you are just the cutest darn thing!
I too was away from my computer all weekend so I am just
now seeing the pics of your beautiful, gorgeous babies! Your
conversation between the girls made me laugh! I love them all!!

I love how veils have this strutty pose they will do. My first veil Nin did it all the time..so totally cute.

Your fish are very pretty.

Thank you! I love my babies! I still think they laugh at me sometimes...... not blowing bubbles. Tinkerbell has taken to swimming up to me when I'm in front of the tank and literally blowing bubbles at me! I feel like she's saying "Look strange land walker with no labyrinth organ and no water.... this is how you blow bubbles. Now feed me"!!!!
