i suggest you get just a plain background like black or blue as it makes the fish look better.

Um... are those Pangasius catfish? sometimes there called iridescent sharks, and they can get over three feet (1 meter) long, and will need a huge tank... besides that, it looks great!

maybe in wild, not in aquariums, google stuff and check it out, i have read they get big, but not a meter, wild and captive sizes differ a lot
 
Questions!!! :sly:

Right, you've seen our tank and granted it may be a little overstocked, but I would like to know the following

1. Our Bala Sharks are at 2-3in at the moment - how long will they take to grow - lets say, to around 6in?
2. As per number 1, the same for the "Columbian" Sharks?

If we bin the Tiger Barbs (5), Swordtails (5) and Powdered Gourami (2) into another tank - how big does it have to be?

Need to ask this here as all the LFS are nice people but quite obviously a bit clueless :rolleyes:
