I checked your last few posts and this doesn't seem to be a pic placed here as reference to a problem.

Therefore (knowing nothing about saltwater fish) I like the coloration around the throat. :p

Pretty fish. :D

What a stunner!
I was so upset when I lost my male. He was the absolute favorite fish in my tank at the time. Many have said i should get another but i dont think any could replce him. If you get half as attached to your blue throat as i did to mine then you will know what im talking about. May he give you many years of enjoyment

1 word.... STUNNING
Cheers, that photo doesnt show off his blue that much, this one is a little more to his blue colour, if a little blurry :*) .
Navarre, i have got attached to him , and its thanks to you that i have him, even though i got the pair by complete chance!,now he's lost his shyness he's very playfull, i have a plastic pipette that i use for water test that he likes to play with and nibble at, also i push him in his side to turn him which he seems to enjoy. Mrs bluethroat is still quite shy :/ , hope she becomes more like him!

That is one of the best specimens and colourations i have seen! I can see why you are so attached.

Please correct me if im wrong but I always thought Triggers were a big NO! NO! for reef tanks.
Is a beautiful fish though.

Since I'm a freshwater guy, I'm kind of clueless :p

But I personally think it's a good looking fish :)

Most triggers are big no no's, but there are a few that can be, but the bluethroat is probably the best due to its being the smallest of the "reef safe" at 8-9", other "reef safe" include pinktail triggerfish (around 13"), niger triggerfish (around 19"), crosshatch triggerfish (around 12") and the sargassum triggerfish (around 14"), there maybe more.

Agreed, most triggers are not reef safe.
BLue throats are very safe however and i wholeheartedly recomend them.

Word of warning though, they are a little nervous and are prone to jumnping. Make sure the tank is covered.
