Please excuse some of the bad quality - these were not taken in the best of conditions. I just felt like sharing
These are photos from my 20 gallon tank which currently has 5 various kuhli-like loaches and a fair number of various shrimp. I am hoping to get more kuhlis and a shoal of celestial pearl danios soon. It has two filters on it right now because I moved everyone over from a smaller tank, including the old filter, and didn't want to worry about fully cycling again. To the best of my knowledge, none of these shrimp will interbreed.
Here is a photo of it in black and white. It currently has awful purple gravel which will be switched back to black or a more earthy hue soon. There's a long story behind the purple, so I will spare you. It has 4 various pieces of wood, two rocks, a fake little ornament (which I would remove but it serves as the home for my marble/bamboo shrimp and a loach), moss balls, many various anubias, and some newly-aquired java moss which I have thrown in haphazardly for now.
My new bamboo/wood/marble/whatever shrimp (he lives in the little ornament during most of the day, but then climbs onto the branch of wood just under the filter output (it's like a mini waterfall) and filters all night. I haven't had him long but he seems to have settled in well and I love him already. His name is Cortez lol.
One of my yellow shrimp, taken before they moved tanks:
A yellow hitching a ride on a kuhli, also in the old tank:
One of my orange sunkist shrimp:
A green shrimp. One of them was full of eggs recently, then they changed colour, and now she is empty.. so I'm hoping little green babies will pop up eventually...:
Two green shrimp:
Another yellow:
A baby orange shrimp- not bred by me unfortunately. He was a freebie from my breeder:
One more orange shrimp:
And one last yellow:
And finally, an older photo of my amano shrimp in the old tank. May have posted it before, can't remember, but I don't want him to be under-represented:
