It's been a long time since I posted some pics, so here is an update...

This was taken the day I installed a Nutrafin CO2 kit and added Laterite to the gravel. Oh how clean it was then!

The rest were taken today, about four months on from the above and after the addition, removal and rearranging of several different plants. I am still fighting algae and trying to get things in balance, so it is a lot dirtier looking now. Algae covers the sides and back and won't come off with scrubbing!

Dwarf Sagittaria and an aglae covered fake-log:

Java Moss covered wood arch. Unfortunately the Java Moss is also algae infested and I have to clean it regularly:

Plants:
Straight Vallisneria (Vallisneria spiralis)
Twisted Vallisneria (Vallisneria tortifolia)
Red Tiger Lotus (Nymphaea lotus var. rubra)
Elodea Densa (Egeria densa)
Water Lettuce (Pistia stratiotes)
Giant Ambulia (Limnophila aquatica)
Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus)
Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana)
Black-red Amazon Swordplant (Echinodorus horemanii) - only added today

If I don't get the algae under control soon, I'm thinking of ripping it apart and making a rockscape! Other than that, I like the way it is coming along.

Like the tank!! Tha fake log doesnt look like its covered in algae it looks like it covered in java moss it looks sweet.

Thanks for all the comments.

The log does look like moss in the pictures, but not in reality unfortunately!

I removed it to give it a clean and replaced it with a bit of slate for the time being, as shown below. I might leave it this way. The Rubbernose probably prefers it under there.
