Hi all this is my first post 
I have had a 350 litre tank set up for about three years now and I have never had a problem untill now. I moved house a couple of months ago and the water in this area is "different".
The problem that im having is algae its like FUR
I tested the water in the tank with a very good test kit and the phosphates are through the roof!! So I bought a Deltec phosphate reactor and got it up and running after following the instructions.
I have a external filter and the outlet form the filter goes through the reactor then back to the tank.
My problem now is that the tank has been cloudly for about 10 hours. It looks like milk in the water.
Can I use RO water? Also can has anyone ever had this problem?
Any ideas?
I have carried out tests as follows:
Ph 7.2
Ammona 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 60
I can see the nitrates are high so I have carried out a water change. Then tested again Nitrate = 20
