Phosphate Etc

Sorry for so many posts today!

I have a phos reactor but my parents aren't overly keen on me having so many things running, at the moment I have no skimmer.
What are the other options instead of reactors for stuff?

I don't want to be spending £30 a time on stuff either due to working myself out of debt currently and parents now watching my finances with an eagle eye!

Any ideas I can look into?

Hvae you got an external filter - if so, you can run phosphate and nitrate reducer in there.
