I can't imagine having a large royal... all of those Panaques are bad about the pooing! I have a little mustard spot pleco (4.5" tops) and he created so much poo in my tank I thought I was going to pull my hair out!

I would say my royal is the same size as your mustard plec. I've had him just over a year

It is. Mine always hides although he has started coming out recently at the tail end of feeding time. he is very full bellied though so he must be getting the courgette etc in the night. A lovely fish always liked them!! and yes they poo for Britain lol

You forgot to mention pooing, too. ;)

Simonas, you have a very impressive pleco collection! The flagtail is looking good too. What size is it?

Thanks Invaderbelieve it or not they are all in the tank in the other pictures where nothing is visible!lol

I love plecs theres also BNP's which I didn;t photo and an L200 which wouldn't come to the front.

The flagtail has really coloured up and is becoming a right character, he's about 4-5 inches. are they slow growers?

i absaloutly love this fish!

Mine seems to grow really slow, so yeah, I would say that they are slow growers. Even the datnoid, notorious for being slow growers, is now bigger and fatter than the flagtail.
