Someone please help!!! I just set my second tank up an Eclipse 40 gallon tank, my nitrate is 0 that's no2 and no3, hardness is soft, alkalinity (GH) is soft(75) and the PH is 8.4, is there something I can do to bring down the PH level naturally rather than using chemicals? I have lots of plant in my other aquariums would if I transferred them over would that help bring it down, any advice would be welcomed

What type of fish are you planning on having? Some of them, this won't be a problem for. For the most part, consistent pH is more important that perfect pH (now if you want to breed, keep discus, or something else more particular about pH this might be a problem). Plants won't effect if, but bogwood would be your best bet. Good thinking, as chemicals will give you more problems that solutions when it comes to pH. :good:
