My Ph usually hovers around 8.0 due to my tap water's horrific Alkalinity.
About a week ago, I installed a DYI CO2 system and it is working fine. Yesterday, I added two really nice pieces of Malaysian driftwood and some Java Moss. I also bought a piece of Cork Wood and covered it with moss....it just floats around and my Betta loves it.
In all, I have three patches of Micros Sword, 1 Large Sword, and Java Moss scattered about. 20 gallon tank with 4 Rasbora, 1 Neon, and 1 Male CT Betta.
However, I checked my stats last night and my Ph was down to 6.7-6.8. Should I be overly concerned or is this a normal thing?
Also, does CO2 have any affecto on Ph?
Thanks
